Terms and Conditions
In conjunction with the film to glass chart, certain aspects of window film applications must be pre approved prior to installation. Some film applications are prohibited.
SolarFX Film Pre-Approval Required:
► Windows which are not vertical (angled glass)
► Reflective glass
► Skylights
► Automotive film on residential or commercial glass
► Odd shaped windows-arches, circles, trapezoid
► Windows with a damaged frame Glass thicker than ½” (6 millimeters)
► Any application over 2500 sq ft. (232.3 sq meters)
► Any type of laminated glass – single pane or double pane
► Previous glass breakage or seal failure history
► Double pane windows over 40 sq ft (3.7 sq meters)
► Single pane windows bigger than 100 sq ft (9.3 sq meters)
► Shading from overhangs, extensions, columns, etc
► Ridgid window framing
Restricted Film Installations:
► Wired, texture or patterned glass
► Partial film application
► Interior films used for exterior application
► Glass that has visible damage
► Triple-pane or double-pane with suspended films
► Two or more films applied to the same piece of glass
► Any window with pre-existing seal failure
