SolarFX Window Films Warranty Overview
SolarFX Window Films guarantees its professionally installed residential and commercial films against defects like peeling, bubbling, cracking, adhesive failure, and demetallization. Warranty durations vary and are outlined in your warranty documentation.
Glass Breakage Coverage:
SolarFX covers glass breakage due to thermal stress, with up to $500 per window for approved claims. Inspections by a SolarFX representative may be required prior to approval.
Dual-Pane Seal Failure:
For approved applications, SolarFX offers limited coverage for seal failure, matching the remaining term of your window manufacturer’s warranty or the time noted on your warranty, whichever is shorter. Coverage is capped at $500 per window.
Exclusions:
Buildings with a history of glass breakage or seal failure are not eligible for coverage. In cases of multiple failures, SolarFX reserves the right to remove its film and refund the installation cost.
General Provisions:
This non-transferable warranty applies to the original purchaser and does not extend past property ownership or tenancy changes. Replacement of film or glass does not renew the warranty period.
